At Zakazukha, we're always up to something and last month it was the Q1! Team Zaka flexed their quads and swapped the elevator for the stairs, 1,331 of them to be exact, at the SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge. The event, held on March 14, was all about raising awareness and funds for national mental health organisation LIVIN. The charity works year-round to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health and through their LIVINWell program and motto 'it ain't weak to speak', LIVIN has helped over 80,000 people receive valuable mental health education. Our client, local building company Choice Homes, have been the main supporter and sponsor of this event since its inception and this year celebrated its fifth time taking to the stairs. Collectively, participants not only conquered the climb they raised over $56,000!The Zaka team wasn't immune to the fun and competitive spirit of the day, but Sam aka Sam Stolzy Stairwell, stepped up and took out the top spot with a climb time of 21 minutes!
